Your family’s private robotics lab
A real industrial-style robotics experience designed for homeschooled students — controlled by parents, not institutions.
No school accounts. No district gatekeepers. Parent consent is the key.
A focused, real robotics session — not a game
RoboClawLab Homeschool Edition gives your student direct time with advanced robotic systems in a structured, parent-visible environment. Every session is short, purposeful, and recorded so you can see exactly what happened.
5-Minute Trainer
Guided introduction that builds confidence and correct habits. Ideal first contact for new students or younger learners.
5-Minute Advanced Lab
Deeper control challenges once the basics are solid. Students apply real motion concepts used in professional entertainment robotics.
Dual HiDef Witness Cams
Two high-definition recordings of every student session. You see the student and the robot together — clear, permanent evidence of the work.
Parent Tools
Dedicated tools for parents and guardians: consent controls, session visibility, reporting, and the ability to guide or review every lab. Built for family authority, not institutional gatekeeping.
More capability. Fewer restrictions.
Public-school robotics programs operate under FERPA and institutional rules written decades ago for a different world. Those rules often limit recording, parental visibility, and advanced tool access. Independent homeschool families are not bound by the same constraints.
Public / FERPA environment Limited
- Institutional consent layers and restricted recording
- Tools and features often reduced for compliance
- Parent visibility filtered through school systems
- Sessions designed around district policy, not family goals
Homeschool / Parent authority Unlocked
- Direct parent consent and full session recordings
- Full trainer + advanced lab + parent tool access
- You see both cameras — student and robot
- Built as your family’s personal robotics lab
What we do not do — and what you agree not to do
The lab is free. In return we ask for a public GitHub star and fork so we can track results. Data handling is limited and parent-driven on both sides.
What we do not do
- Charge for the standard lab
- Keep student videos after you download them
- Send lab content into AI models
- Use participation data for advertising
- Sell or share student-generated content
What you agree not to do
- Sell or commercially exploit the witness videos
- Enter videos or lab materials into AI models
- Reuse them outside private educational purposes
- Use them for advertising or marketing
About the star and fork: That is the only thing we ask for in return. If the lab is used and the GitHub star or fork is later removed (or the account deleted), it does not help our efforts. We hope parents leave them in place as ongoing support for the free lab. Read the full Parent FAQ →
Ready to open the lab?
Create a free GitHub account (or sign in), then unlock the lab for your student. Parent consent is required. By unlocking, you accept the Legal Terms on behalf of your student.
Parent consent comes first. Then GitHub signup or login, star and fork, then lab unlock. Parent FAQ · Full legal acceptance terms
